About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This
is a hands-on role focused on advanced demolition equipment, including excavator
modifications, upgrades, servicing, and repair.
You will play a key role in maintaining, servicing and improving heavy mechanical
and hydraulic machinery, helping to ensure reliable performance across our
operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Service, maintain, and repair heavy mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems and components
• Assemble hydraulic cylinders and associated components
• Install mechanical and hydraulic upgrades to excavators and demolition
attachments
• Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance

About You
We are looking for someone practical, reliable, and motivated, who takes pride in
delivering high-quality work.

Essential
• An interest in working with heavy machinery, ideally excavators and
attachments
Desirable
• Mechanical skill set
• Interest in welding and fabrication
• Willingness to develop skills and undertake further training

This position would be at our facility in Aylesham, CT3. Access to a vehicle would be essential due to location.

 

  • Engineering Machinist 

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Machinist to join our growing team. This
role involves programming and operating both milling and lathe machinery to
manufacture precision-engineered components to exact specifications.
The position includes a mix of semi-automated and manual machining work, with
opportunities to expand your skills into specialist areas such as horizontal and line
boring.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate milling and lathe machines (semi-automated and
manual)
- Manufacture components from technical drawings to tight tolerances
- Carry out manual machining operations, including boring and turning
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency
- Work closely with engineers and fabricators to support project delivery

Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn and develop new machining techniques
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude


This position would be at our facility in Dover, CT15. Access to a vehicle would be essential due to location.
